Customers would purchase a laundry card that would be sold from the kiosk using a credit card at the kiosk and load money onto the laundry card at the same kiosk. The laundry card can then be used at the washers and dryers on site. This system requires an internet connection along with a power source. There are monthly fees associated with the system such as monthly merchant account fees and transaction fees. The kiosk would need to be refilled with laundry cards once it’s empty.

Card reader at the washer/dryer machine that takes personal debit / credit cards along with coin, if wanted – this coin option can be programmed or not. This system can also use an app to pay for a wash/dry (for residents that have a smart phone and can use app payments. There are monthly fees associated with the system such as monthly merchant account fees and transaction fees. This system will require a router in the laundry rooms.
